AMSTERDAM, Netherlands (November 2, 2021) – Sea Ray is pleased to announce that the SPX 230 Outboard has been nominated for European Powerboat of the Year 2022 in the Up to 8 Meter category. A champion in terms of comfort and configurability, the SPX 230 Outboard is designed for incredible ease of use and natural flow of conversation. Selected by a jury of representatives from nine industry-leading magazines, the winner will be announced during the first night of the boot Düsseldorf international boat show, 22 Jan., 2022.

The jury of the European Powerboat Award is made up of test riders and editors in chief from European motorboat magazines: Båtmagasinet (Norway), BOATMAG.it (Italy), BOOTE (Germany), marina.ch (Switzerland), Moteur Boat (France), Motorboot (Netherlands), Náutica y Yates (Spain), Neptune (France) and Yachtrevue (Austria). To be chosen as European Powerboat of the Year, nominees are judged on several criteria such as workmanship, safety, driving behavior, design, distribution of space and price performance ratio.
