SEA RAY’S INNOVATIVE SLX® 260 SERIES NAMED 2023 TOP PRODUCT BY BOATING INDUSTRY MAGAZINE

The Models are Sea Ray’s First Boats Designed by an All-Women Design Team
KNOXVILLE, Tennessee (3 May 2023) — Sea Ray’s cutting-edge SLX 260 Series has been honored as a 2023 Top Product by Boating Industry magazine. The SLX 260, available in sterndrive, outboard and surf variations, is the first Sea Ray model created by an all-women design team. Led by Sea Ray Senior Design Manager Carrie Fodor and Brunswick Boat Group Senior Industrial Designer Kristin McGinnis, the design of the SLX 260 was carefully considered from bow to stern to optimize comfort, space and function. In addition, the SLX 260 leverages tailored, sophisticated style and easy-to-use amenities to deliver an escape from the day-to-day.
To be selected for the 10th annual Boating Industry Top Products list, each product or service must have been introduced or significantly updated since January 1, 2022. Winners were selected for their impact on the industry, innovations and how the individual product or service advanced its category – or launched a new segment. Models from the Sea Ray line-up have been named as a Top Product a total of eight times over the course of the ten years since Boating Industry launched its list in 2014.

The Top Product distinction marks the fourth award the SLX 260 has received. The series was recently recognized at the Miami International Boat Show with an Innovation Award and a Marine Marketers of America Neptune Award. Also, designers Carrie Fodor and Kristin McGinnis were named 2022 Designer of the Year at the IBI METSTRADE Show for their groundbreaking efforts behind its design.
