Sea Ray’s surf technology is powered by a Mercury MerCruiser® engine with a forward-facing Bravo Four S® drive that’s positioned well under the boat for rider safety. The contra-rotating props pull the boat through the water, resulting in a smoother, more efficient ride with better acceleration.
Mercury’s Active Trim helps shape the perfect wave while the Smart Tow® surf system lets you select your activity – surf, wakeboard, or tube and ski – to access various pre-set launch profiles. Our built-in watersports interface lets you easily adjust speed, set wave steepness and length, change ride side, and control ballast for easy surf setup every time.
Sea Ray surf boats are engineered for the specific purpose of creating surfable wakes. The hull shape and tapered transom create clean and consistent waves that riders of all levels can enjoy.
Sea Ray surf boats come with three hard ballast tanks equipped with three pumps that can add as much as much as 1900 lbs. of ballast, depending on the model. Each ballast tank can be individually controlled through the built-in watersports interface, so you can fine tune the ballast based on how many people are on board and where they are sitting.
Sea Ray’s premium interior features include ample storage for boards and gear, an electric watersports tower with an integrated Bimini top and surf tow points. An optional head as well as advanced technologies like inductive phone charging and premium audio integrations make it easy to spend all day on the lake.
